Canon Android app won't connect to printer

I have been connecting my Canon application to my printer for a long time now all of a sudden the cannon application on my Android does not want to connect to the printer. It is printing perfectly but I cannot print from my Canon application that is on my phone. I have tried everything but I cannot print from my Android app on my phone I was just 3 hours trying and trying and nothing I have done everything and everything follow instructions I have this printer for a long time and I have been printing using my phone for the longest and now it doesn't work. Pixma MG2630

What version of the Canon print app are you using?

Grab the latest version of the Canon print app from the Play Store

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.canon.bsd.ad.pixmaprint&hl=en_US

Please note that the *Canon Print business* app is being deprecated.

If you continue to have issues, please delete the printer from the app and re-add it.

Good morning, how are you? I have tried everything for a couple of hours. I'm exhausted. Nothing is working. I've been doing this for ages and all of a sudden it's not working. I always use my phone to print documents. This time is not good but thank you so much for your help. Have a great day and be safe.

Thank you for the tip on Canon's Print app.

I had run into the same problem. One day, my phone just up and quit printing. It was recognizing the printer, but just putting my print jobs into a queue.

I updated the app, and now all is well.
