Amazon Fire printer plugin

Is the printer plugin for Amazon Fire compatible with the new Fire, which uses OS 5 Bellini? Descriptions read that it is compatible up to 4.5.

The plugin only appears to be compatible with Fire OS 3.0 through 4.5.
