Alternative mobile printing apps for PIXMA iX6280

I'm using the Pixma iX6820. I've been having a lot of trouble getting a true black to print from the "Canon Print"  iOS app.

This is app, linked is a great alternative.

It automatically prints a true black. When you're printing a photo it allows you to edit the image, you can type, draw, adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation.

You still have to add your printer via the "Canon Print" app before you can find your printer in any other app. Which sucks, is there a way around that?

You have to be careful and select the $.99 per year subscription. As of today that's an option. Otherwise it''ll automatically subscribe you at a higher rate.

I found it here : https://www.reddit.com/r/iosapps/comments/1k9xykb/just_wanted_to_share_my_app_remote_print_wireless/

Try these alternatives: PrinterShare, Mopria Print Service, Canon PRINT, or HP Smart. They work with many printers and are easy to use.

Youcine television – Alternative mobile printing apps for PIXMA iX6280:
The PIXMA iX6280 doesn’t support native mobile printing, but you can try:

  • Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY (limited support)

  • PrinterShare

  • Mopria Print Service

  • NokoPrint

These apps may work over Wi-Fi or USB-OTG with setup.

Encouraging! Thank you. Can you tell me more about how to connect an ios phone to canon pixma ix6820 using USB-OTG?  My goal is to be able to print in places that do not have wifi like parks and flea markets. Is it possible to do that via USB-OTG?
