PIXMA MX452 Windows 11 scanner driver needed

Have a refurbished Dell Latitude loaded with Win 11. Downloaded the printer driver and the printer is working. Unable to find any drivers for the scanner. Understand that MX 452 is no longer supported. The Canon quick menu is available but the scanner information is blank. Unable to locate an IJ Scanner utility in the programs. Is there anyway to get the scanner up and running in this situation. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. As you noted PIXMA MX452is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

Install this.  It should allow you to scan under Windows 11.

Note, As Ron pointed out, the MX452 is now 12 years old. You should really consider upgrading to a device that supports modern printing technology.  😉

Hi Rick, I downloaded the link you supplied. Unfortunately it did not discover the printer. No worries. The printer is working and I am looking into the suggestion of buying a new printer/scanner.
