Hello.
Please try the following to see if we can resolve your issue:
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Unplug the power from the printer for at least 5-10 minutes.
3. While unplugged, remove any paper from the unit.
4. Double check for any obstructions found in the unit or paper paths.
5. If no obstructions are found, plug the power back in and turn the unit on.
If the issue persists, troubleshooting with our support group will be needed to narrow down the cause of your issue. Please contact our support group using the "Contact Us" link below for additional assistance.

My PIXMA MX922 is brand new. It will not start. I just get the Error 6000 message. I tried all of the suggestions and I still get the same message. When I try to call Canon the virtual assistant asks for the phone number associated with my account. I put in the phone number and the virtual assistant says that it isn't recognized. I've tried this 8 times and I always get the same message. I'm sure the phone number is correct. Is there a way to chat with someone? Or reach a live person in a way that doesn't involve calling the service number? This is maddening.

If the printer is out of support life, you will have the option to contact our phone team only.
Please be advised if the error does not clear after trying the steps HERE, the printer will require service.
If the printer is in its 1-year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
