so my powershot SX720HS got slightly wet (not completelye submerged), when it first happened it would turn on but the screen was blank. i put it in rice and 4 days later it turned on!
However, there is a "memory card error" message. the SD card itself is working fine - we have tried muliple new cards which all give the same message. Which means it must be the slot itself.
Please could anyone tell me how i should go about getting it fixed? the camera itself is working absolutley fine!
THANKYOU!

Look in the slot and see if there is any obvious water/debris.
If there is, try to blow it out with a can of compressed air. While, this is not recommended for sensors, in this case, with a deep narrow slot, it might be the only option.

For the cost it might be worth trying something like this Memory Card Slot Cleaner tool...,
