Currently one cannot take pictures and video while the G9 X Markii is plugged in. I propose that Canon come out with a firmware update tha allows the camera to take pictures and video while plugged in. This would allow users to use a USB charging bank to run the camera if they are taking extended videos or pictures. Canon could sell a battery bank, cable, holding pouch combo instead of the battery adapter kit other companies sell for $20. This would add some value to the Canon user's experience without Canon losing revenue on accessories.
