Where do you see that spec?  It looks like it's only jpg to me.

Ah, well, if you’re trying to use hacks like CHDK you’ll probably get more help if you tell people that’s what you’re doing.  There’s not much of a hacker contingent here, you’ll probably have better luck in more techy forums.  Like perhaps the CHDK forum:

It requires the Canon Hacker's Developement Kit (CHDK). It runs off of your SD card and does not harm your camera. Download a program called Stick-

Follow the directions and you will be able to shoot in RAW along with some other deatures not available on your camera previously.

thankyou that was fun to set up and I see my camera change mode when I turn it on booting from the sd card.

How can I accesss the raw format photo  output?

I see jpgs available on the card Iv taken after installing  the CHDK but no raw format.

Is there a menu ?

also for future users,os ...10.8,,I couldnt type in my password,but cut pasting it from textedit worked.

found my way in there and have a raw  .dmg save  ,,thanks

now to retrace and figure out how to do it again,glad I can with this camera
