New user. Tech challenged. What is the dpi of photos taken on PowerShot Elph 115 IS ???

The camera doesn't shoot in DPI: it shoots pixels & your photos will be X pixels wide by X pixels tall. Printers use DPI & you normally need 300 DPI or more for a high quality print. Some software opens your photos & displays how big a print you COULD make at 72 DPI but that's just something built into the program & has no real meaning unless you are thinking of making a wall poster. It's unimportant info 99.9%of the time.
