instead of just seeing the photo I took when I hit playback this pops up. I didn’t click anything but my friend took my camera and took photos and must’ve done something, how do I fix it?

What camera is this? There should be an Info button somewhere. Or perhaps a display button. Pressing that should cycle between the full screen image display and the display with the camera settings and histogram as shown. Once we know your camera model, we’ll specifically know how you can revert its display.
