SX30 1X

Hi All,

New to this...not a pro but I know a good picture when I see one.  I have a SX30 1X and love it. We are traveling to the U.K. this year. Will this camera do a great job, or should I upgrade to another.  And, if so, which camera do you suggest?  I want one that will take good, clear distance shots, and long video feed.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

If you're looking for a replacement of the PowerShot SX30 IS, I'd take a look at the PowerShot SX50 HS.

This is an improved camera with tons of features, not the least of which is a 50X optical zoom.

If you're looking to augment your SX30 IS, you may want to go a bit smaller with the PowerShot S110.  This is an exceptionally capable camera capable of a wide range of settings in a very small package.
