Memory card error

I have a powershot sx30 is and it started to display a memory card error. I've reformatted my card and completely a factory reset but the error still persists. Can someone please help me navigate this issue? I don't know what else to do.

Have you tried a new card?  It is always good to have one or two spares handy.  No micro-SD cards, though.

I have and it still doesn't work.

You can look in the card slot to see if there is any foreign material, and whether the fingers look OK.

I hope your camera has not failed on you.  What brand and size card?  I would not cards larger than 32 GB with that camera.

Same here. It's a pay high performance 32gb sd

I didn't see any foreign objects or pieces of metal in there.

If you mean PNY is the manufacturer, then I would highly recommend that you change brands.  Use Lexar or Sandisk.

I just looked up those cards at the B&H web site.  I saw U1 cards.  The U3 cards are a better match.
