Remote shooting video w/ PowerShot SX610?

I've been able to connect my Android successfully via wifi and Canon Connect app via wifi to a PowerShot SX610. However, I can only shoot pictures, there is no option in the app that would allow me to shoot video. Is shooting video remotely not supported in the app or only this camera? Is there a lightweight model (PoweShot series) that does support remote video shooting?

Thanks for posting.

Canon's PowerShot cameras only allow the remote shooting of still images.  I regret any difficulty this causes.
