Problem with Displayed Date

mjschocken
Enthusiast

My wife has a Powershot SX60 and the date keeps reverting to January 1, 1980.  We can reset it but every time she turns the camera off, the date reverts to 1/1/1980.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Sounds like it could be a battery problem.  Check the manual to see if there is a separate battery, just for the clock, too.  Otherwise, a call to Canon Service may be needed.  1-800-OK-CANON.
