Hi,
I just bought a camera that I thought was Powershot sx740, which is what was printed on the receipt, and now I get an email to tell me it has shipped, but they call it Powershot sx740 hs. Are these two separate models, or are they the same thing? What does “hs” signify?
Thanks!

Hi, SandyL! There is only one camera with that model number and it's the PowerShot SX740 HS. It's possible its name may have been abbreviated on the receipt. The "HS" designation refers to its heightened sensitivity for low-light photography. We're confident you'll love the results!
