Hello! When I turn on my powershot, the lens will not open. It makes no sound, which leads me to believe that the gears are not even turning. I put new batteries in the camera, the lens still will not work. The lens doesn’t appear to have anything stuck in it, and the digital interface is working as it should. It always asks for the date after being powered on, but I assume this is a separate issue caused by the date/time battery. Am I just SOL? Thanks for any advice!
