Powershot XS510 HS and Windows 10

What is the trick to get our PowerShot XS510 HS to sync and transfer pictures and videos to our computer we recently upgraded to Windows 10?

When I search for new devices, the camera says no devices found. I apologize if this has been hashed out several times on the forums. My searches thus far have not found anything and any help is appreciated.

   Are you trying to establish a Wi-Fi connection from the camera to the computer? 

   If so, are you doing this through a router, such as using your at-home wireless network?

I think I got this all resolved. I forgot to install the software on my laptop.
