I have recently resumed use of this 2014 model camera and cannot get it to connect wirelessly or with a cable in order to download images to my my MacBook Pro or to an iPhone. I have paid for Canon service but the 800-652-2666 service I was directed to provides only an automated reply to seek online support at usa.canon.com. But there is no support there either! It does not appear like the software or the new Canon Image cloud service supports the SX700HS model. Would appreciate any advice (and how to get my $14 back, ha!). Thanks.

Turn off Wifi and use a known good USB cable. Launch ImageCapture. Does the camera show up?
