I have a Powershot SX700 HS camera. It produces fine images. But it always includes a date/time stamp in the lower right part of the image. This has ruined many carefully framed photos. I am happy to have the date and time recorded in the image metadata, but how can I avoid its inclusion in the image itself?

Have you studied the manual to see if the stamp can be turned off? I just looked. Try page 38.

Thank you. I was looking in the wrong part of the menu.
