PowerShot SX280  can I transfer my picture to Google Picasa and still have the GPS tags follow? It works with my Iphone when I transfer the picture to Picasa

When camera sends out an image, it has all the metadata intact. So you should see the GPS information. If you don't see it, maybe it is stripped by other software. How do you upload your image to Picasa, is it through the PC or directly from the camera. Tell us your workflow and we may be able to pin point the problem.

I have not bought the camera yet. Just wanted to know if the tags flow to Picasa? Now I put the SD card in the computer and download to Picasa

The GPS information (if you turn on GPS) will be imbeded into your image. Unless you remove it, it will be there when you upload it on Picasa.
