Hello, I bought the canon sx 740 and used it for a couple a months but suddenly the flash stops firing. I have reset the setting and made sure the flash option is on but nothing still works. Everytime I tried to take pictures in dark settings, the flash would only say busy and not firing. Is there anything I can do? My camera works fine and the only problem is the flash.

Hello Byang,
I'm really sorry to hear that your flash no longer fires. Let's see if we can force the flash to fire. Set the camera to the P shooting mode. Press the [flash lever] to raise the flash. Press the right directional button and choose the [FLASH ON] (lightning bolt without the A) mode. If the flash still does not fire, then unfortunately, there is a problem with the flash.
