I have a G7x (mark 1) whose flash no longer flashes. I also have a G7x Mark II with a bad lens. I took the flash module from the G7x Mark II with the intent of moving it into the G7x. The plastic top is a bit different but can be swapped easily. But the PCB also looks a bit different. So my question to those in the know is: is the flash module electrically equivalent? The connector to the camera looks the same. But I am afraid there may be electrical differences too. If someone knows whether a flash module from a PowerShot G7x Mark II is usable in the Mark I please let me know. Thanks.
