PowerShot G7 X Mark II Restock

Hi! I know this question has been asked previously, but I was wondering if there was a current update. I am extremely curious, as I know others are, when the PowerShot G7 X Mark II will be restocked. Does anyone have any idea? I am planning on purchasing as soon as it is available. Thanks so much!

Several of Canon's PowerShots are all showing a "Waiting List Only" status at B&H Photo and "On Backorder" at Adorama to name a couple of stores.

I would contact Canon sales department to see if they have an idea, or if they could recommend a different camera. Especially since so many PowerShots have been affected.
