My camera screen intermittently is black and blurry when I turn it on. The screen is mostly black and blurry but sometimes it works properly. If I take photos with the black blurry screen, the SD card images are black and blurry just like the screen. When the camera screen works properly, the SD card images are are accurate just like the screen. Does anybody know what part is faulty which is causing the intermittent black and blurry screen? Attached is a photo of the black and blurry screen. The reflection on the camera screen in the photo is my iPhone.

Since both the picture files and back screen are affected, it is your sensor or electronics in the camera are defective. I would suggest replacing the camera, as it would not be cost effective to repair.

Would the sensor be located on the mother board?

Sorry, I wouldn't know.
