My canon g7x mark ii is not taking this memory card

I first tried The New, 2022 bought g7x mark ii with the blue sandisk class 4 sdhc 8gb and I was able to take pictures. But trying the SanDisk extreme pro 64gb 200mb/s it says memory card error, I also tried with other SD cards it says memory card error,

Look inside the slot and see if there is any fluff or something blocking the contacts.

You might also try formatting the card first in a desktop or laptop before putting it in the camera. If you don't get the card error message then also be sure to do a low-level format in the camera before using it.
