It's probably trying to tell you that the times on the computer and on the camera are out of sync, and it's most likely the computer that's doing the telling. It's unlikely that either device knows which time is "correct".

Make sure that your computer and camera are set for the same time zone, AND make sure that both have the same dayllight savings time setting, either both enabled or both disabled.

I suppose it's worth pointing out that it doiesn't make any real difference if the camera and the computer are out of sync. Synchronizing the camera with the computer won't change the Exif data on pictures you've already taken. But synchronizing before you take the pictures is very helpful if you're using two cameras (or more than one shooter) and you want all the pictures to sort in the correct chronological order afterwards.

I know of one person that seems to do a lot of international traveling that always keeps her camera on GMT. That way there is no confusion about which time zone the camera was in or whether DST was on, ...
