Memory card selection

Hi all,

I'm about to buy a few of these cards for my cameras:

These are Samsung 128GB 100MB/s (U3) MicroSD EVO Select Memory Card with Adapter.
Will this card (with an adapter) work with the Powershot s100?

Yes it should work but using a microSD card in an adapter is not recommended and might cause a problem. I have used many microSD's in an adapter and only had a problem once. So it is a gamble to use that instead of a full-size SD card.

The Samsung U3 mirco SD card is a good card, but not designed for your Powershot s100. The owners manual and other sites clearly do not define how much storage one can accumulate, (somewhere between 2GB - 2TB) but does define that the cards must be SD/SDHC/SDXC or the Standard Size Card. Using the micro card with an adapter may cause issues as the camera my not recognize the card. Always consult your owners manual or the Canon support links for further assistance.
