Hello 🙂
I have a Canon A590IS . While I use MF, when the camera enters in stand by(the LCD turns off), the cameras changes the focus to normal.
Is there a way to avoid this/ the stand by/ turning off the LCD after some time ? It's really disturbing 😞

From pages 139 & 140 in the user guide; the link to your camera and manual

I think that's a good thing because it forces the camera to AF when turned on when there's a sudden need to get a photo. If you need to get a shot off fast due to circumstances that going to be a lot easier than trying manual focus or finding the righrt menu to switch it back.
