Macro will not turn off canon sx 280 even when I press it, nothing happens

I put macro on but it will not turn off. What do I do?

Thanks for posting.

To turn off the Macro focusing mode:

1. Press the <LEFT> button.  The focusing modes will be displayed on the LCD.
2. Use the <LEFT> and <RIGHT> buttons or the dial to select a different focusing mode.
3. Press the <FUNC/SET> button.
