Is there a way to lock out the self timer? I continually end up setting it while in M mode adjusting

While trying to adjust the ISO in M mode using the dial, I continually end up hitting the self timer..Is there some way of locking out that feature on the Powershot 50SX?

At this time there isn't a way to lock out the actual self timer function on this camera.  We regret this inconvenience.
