I have the G7X Mark II. The skin smoothing feature is great. I have the ability to bump it up or down - so i can customize it. I also have the Canon R10, which has skin smoothing, but it's not customizable. I can't change the intensity.
What I wondered is with the g7x Mark III, does the skin smoothing feature work the same way as the Mark II, where I can bump it up or down, and therefore customize the intensity? Or is it like the R10, where it is either on or off, but not customization, and not all that impressive as far as how good it works?

Hi Katia135,
The skin smoothing feature on the PowerShot G7 X Mark III is like the feature on the EOS R10. The skin smoothing cannot be increased or decreased on that camera. Once the camera is in the skin smoothing SCN mode it automatically applies the smoothing effect.
