IPad usage with Powershot SX70

I would like to use an IPad instead of the camera's LCD screen to focus pictures ( macro photography ). Is it possible to use an IPad to do this via Bluetooth or a cable. Thanks for the help !

You can do it with Canon DSLRs, at least I know you can on the more advanced models.  Not sure If PowerShots allow for tethered, remote shooting.

Need to check SX70. SX60 here. No Focus. Limited Camera Controls.
