I have a PowerShot SX10 IS with no software. Do I NEED the original 37.1 version?

I have a PowerShot SX10 IS with no software. I found lots of versions of digital camera solution cd's on ebay. Do I HAVE to use the original version that came with the camera or can I use a different version? The main program I want to use is Photo Stitch. Thanks ~Jes

You can use any version, but there is a workaround that you don't need to original CD to install Photostich software which is free on Canon site.
