How to set long exposure times on a Powershot sd800?

Is there a way to set long exposure times on a Powershot SD800 camera? Am I limited to what the preset menus offer?

You can try shooting in the Long Shutter Mode.  Please follow these steps:

1. With the camera in Manual mode, you will need to go into the menu and enable Long Shutter.
2. Exit the menu and press the FUNC button.
3. Select the Exposure Compensation setting and press the MENU button.
4. Use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to select the shutter speed.
