Wthat is the Error Message E32 in the PowerShot ELPH 115 IS?

That error message is usually a stuck lens. If any dirt got on the barrel of the lens when you turned it off, it could be just enough to keep the lens from opening. If that is the case you would get the error message and the camera will automatically shut off. The other possibility is that the lens got out of alignment and cannot open at all, and may need to be serviced. I would try to vacuum around the lens with the camera off, then once finished, turn on the camera and see if that helped at all.
