ELPH 360HS, camera works but screen is all white

My 3 or so years old ELPH 360HS (black)  has its screen showing only all white. Upon power up and after any button the screen is just all white. The camera works otherwise and takes photos fine.  Sadly the S/N on it has rubbed off (!), and I can't register the product w/ Canon to even find out if factory repair is possible and what it might cost.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any place that works on such repairs?  New ones are about $450 at least, I hate to give up on my present one if repair is possible.

I'm sorry to hear the rear LCD on your PowerShot ELPH 360HS is only showing in white. If the screen stays white even when you press the Menu button we would recommend sending the camera in for service. Since the serial number on your camera has rubbed off you likely will not be able to use our online repair portal to send in the camera. We would recommend calling the PowerShot team at 1-800-652-2666 for information on if there is a different way to send in the camera for service.

The PowerShot ELPH 360 HS has a flat rate repair cost of $259. I have included a link HERE to our Service & Repair webpage. On this page, scroll down until you see Request Forms and Service Programs. Click that and under that, you should see a link that says Camera Repair Request Form. You can fill this form out and send it to our Newport News, VA service center. All of the PowerShot models go there. The address of our service center is listed at the bottom of the second page.
