Is it possible to hook the SX 540 HS to a laptop as a webcam? And if so, what cables are needed?

The software is still in beta release. Your camera is not listed as supported, but you can try it if you wish.

Cable: Standard USB on the computer side. Mini-USB type B on the camera side.

Which camera is closest to the SX540? As a followup to the link you sent to try, I don't know which camera utility I should download...which is closest to my camera?
