I recently updated my Macbook to Sierra 10.12 and then High Sierra 10.13. In both operating systems I am unable to connect my Powershot SX730 to the computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled CameraWindow. I have tried using both a cable and WiFi. When using WiFi the camera detects my computer and says it's connected but CameraWindow says "No camera was found." The only way for me to transfer images is to upload to the cloud and then download from the cloud. How can I transfer images directly to my laptop?

You can transfer images directly to your laptop in one of two ways. Connecting a USB cable between the camera and the laptop. You can remove the memory card from the camera and use a card reader to access the stored images.
