A520 forgets date

My A520 has either lost its mind or gotten Alzheimers. Every time that i turn it on now I need to tell it the date.

It sounds like the "date battery" has expired. See this-

I didn't even know that it had a "date" battery - found it and will go try and find it a new one.

Does the SX150 have one ??

The SX 150 does not have a user changeable date battery.
