support code 1600, touch screen not working

The 1600 support code popped up to tell me that two of my ink cartridges are low, but it won't let me do anything else. The touch screen seems to have stopped working. Also, is there any way I can change settings so that certain documents are printed in black and white only?

I am experiencing the same issue on my MG5420. Cyan is out but I only want to print black???

Hello.

The 1600 error indicates that one or more of the ink tanks are empty.

Please replace the empty ink tank in order to resume operation.

Unfortunately, the empty color tank would have to be replaced even though you will be printing a black and white document.

how this happen? i print only on black and white and 2 colour inks are empty. and now i try to print some documents on B&W and i can't.
