scan small items

years ago before buying this printer i owned a canon inkjet 3 in one and it would scan a postage stamp and only the stamp.

this printer scans the whole area unless i change the paper size.

is it a defect or a setting?

Hi 1billybob.

Using the ScanGear option in the MF Toolbox, you can preview and crop the image so that you are able to save just image of the stamp. Please follow teh instructions at the link below:
