Had a light paper jam then printer would not work, have shut on/off and cleaned the tape etc and just stays with error 5105. any ideas ? thx

Hello,
If you are getting a 5105 error, you can try opening the front of the printer to where the ink loads to check for any obstructions or torn pieces of paper. If the ink area is clear of obstructions, you can try cleaning the encoder strip. If that does not resolve the issue, it looks like the printer needs service. To check your service options, you can log into your MyCanon account or contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666.
