imageCLASS MF731Cdw Toner Cartridge Compatibility with Other Models

I own a Canon ImageClass MF731cdw.  I am thinking of also purchasing an ImageClass MF741, MF743 or MF 644.  Are the toner cartridges for any of the MF741, MF743 or MF644 compatible with the MF731?

I changed from the MF733 cdw to the MF743 cdw.  Canon replaced machine because the scanner was jamming.  It looks like the same printer to me.  However the MF733 used a #046 toner cartridge but the MF743 uses a #055 cartridge.  I had to get new #055 cartridges!  (Note:  I had four #046 cartridges that were in my machine briefly and with full toner ink).

Hello Mkantor,

The 046 toner cartridges that are in the MF731Cdw will also work in the LBP654Cdw, MF733Cdw, and MF735Cdw. The other models that you mentioned would use different toner cartridges.
