Greetings,

The MF663Cdw does not support a second cassette / paper tray.  It has a single cassette that holds 250 pages.  Overfilling the cassette could keep it from being inserted or removed from the printer.

It's also possible to extend the lower cassette to accept legal size media.

In this situation it is not possible for the drawer to be fully recessed.  The printer comes with a plastic legal dust cover that is placed over the front side of the paper cassette when it is extended and inserted into the printer.

The paper cassette drawer slides in and out horizontally to load paper.  If you need to remove it, you slide it out and tilt the front of the cassette up slightly while pulling back to remove it.  To reinsert, it's the opposite, tilt it slightly up, insert it into the drawer, then push it in when level.

Hopefully this answers your question.
