imageCLASS MF654Cdw Scanning generates remote UI error message

I'm setting up my printer/scanner and cannot get it to scan.  When I try to scan it says "Email/Fax settings are not configured in Remote UI"  What does this mean?  I'm using this printer/scanner at home.  Any help would be great.

This error indicates you are trying to Scan To A Destination which is not configured.  This can be an Email or folder.  If email, you need to configure the SMTP and account information for the email service you use.  If you are scanning to a computer destination or folder, you need to specify the path so the printer knows where to save the scanned image, document, etc.  Configuration for either is done in the Remote UI.  This only needs to be once.
