The Canon Imageclass 642 is the WORSE PIECE OF JUNK I have ever had in my office. Jams constantly, can't pull legal paper in properly, beeps problems incessantly. Legal paper doesn't even FIT in the drawer! Right now, it has jammed itself and I can't even find the paper that it supposedly jammed!!! No access, of course.
DON'T EVER BUY THIS JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!

For information on how to properly load legal paper please see page 113 of the user's manual here: https://canon.us/3Q9GSO5 Other info on how to remedy paper jams can also be found in this same manual beginning on page 143. Make sure paper guides along the sides of the paper aren't too tight or too loose as this can cause paper misfeeding and jamming.

I 100% agree. This printer is trash. It jams every single time I try to print an envelope or any heavy paper such as card stock. It has done this since the day I got it. Very disappointed I paid money for this garbage.
