imageCLASS MF634Cdw Red Blotches When I Print Anything


There are red blotches when I print anything. When I press "start" on the "start cleaning the fixing assembly" screen, the process does not start. I tried to press it after logging in on the management screen, but it doesn't do anything.

If you are unable to perform a cleaning of the fixing assembly and you get red blotches, it usually points to a problem with one of the toner cartridges. I would suggest replacing the magenta cartridge or removing it to check if it is leaking or if there is loose toner powder in the printer that you can clean up with a damp cloth. After cleaning the printer and reseating the toner, you can try cleaning the fixing assembly again to see if it works or if it resolves the issue with the red splotches.
