My printer started printing horizontal black lines. If I power off the printer halfway through a print and remove the paper out of the rear door, the printed lines only appear on the section of paper that went all the way through. Is this a fuser problem? I can't find information on how to remove the fuser and clean it, or replace it.

Hello,
The image looks like there is toner powder in the paper feed path. You can try removing the toner and checking the inside for any black toner powder that can be wiped up with a damp cloth. After checking the inside, you can try cleaning the fixing assembly. If the lines do not improve, it looks like there is a problem with one of the toner cartridges or the printer needs service. To check your service options, you can contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666 or log into your MyCanon account. Our agents would be happy to help.
