imageCLASS MF455dw - Duplex copying results in blacked out image

We are having issues with our Image Class MF455dw copier/printer and it's ability to copy duplex print jobs.  The 2nd page always comes out with half the copied page black.

I've tried resetting the printer to factory default, but that didn't help.

The printer is maybe 2-3 years old.

The image looks like one of the scanner sensors are damaged and the copier needs service. There is a small chance that the copier is not getting enough power. You can try unplugging the printer from the power and then pressing the power button 10 times while the printer is unplugged. After that, you can plug the printer into a different power source, and you can try turning it on.

If you continue to have issue with the copies, it looks like the printer needs service. you can log into your MyCanon account or contact support over the phone at 1-800-652-2666 to check your service options.
