imageCLASS MF455dw Connecting Scanner to Computer

I am running a Dell, Windows 10.  I have a new Canon MF455dw printer/scanner.  The two are wirelessly connected -- I use the printer successfully.  When I try to scan, the printer screen says the computer is not connected.  Thinking it was a driver issue, I downloaded  and installed GPlus UFRII_Driver_v300_w64_00 (release date was days before my printer purchase) and wunmfscanutilityv12102 from the Canon website.  Printer still works, but the scanner still will not.  What do I do to connect these and otherwise make the scanner available?

I just bought the same printer but using with Windows 11.  Same issue though!  Did you ever resolve and do you remember the solution?

Greetings ,

Since this is someone else's topic, can you please start your own thread.  Please list the model of your printer, the operating system you are using it with (version and build), how it is connected, and any software or drivers you have installed.

Have you read the user guide for this printer? It could be a setting on the printer to enable remote scanning.

I have an MF8350cdn that requires you to set it to "Remote Scanner" in the Scan window for the computer to see it and initiate a scan. Could the MF455dw be the same?
